It's hard to believe that it's been 30 years since the release of 3 Men and a Baby, the hit comedy about a trio of New York City bachelors trying to figure out how to raise a baby girl dropped off at their doorstep. But one person that definitely did not have a starring role? The ghost of a young boy.

For years, rumors persisted that a "ghost boy" who had supposedly died in the loft where scenes from the movie were filmed can be seen standing between the sheer curtains in a scene between Jack Holden played by Danson and his mother check out the scene in question in the video above. But, much like the pervasive urban legend that one of the munchkins in the Wizard of Oz committed suicide on film , the rumor is not true: The human figure in question is actually just a cardboard cutout of Danson dressed in a top hat and tails, a fact that Tom Selleck confirmed in a February appearance on The Tonight Show :.

In a very brief flashback as Camille looks in the mirror, a number of words are scratched on a table. Another entry in the town signage, this time an ad for bowling that shows us an idealized marriage, wholesome leisure time, and a reminder that the weather in Wind Gap can get very, very hot. She sees it as she and Richard explore the woods around the town. The hallucinatory words appear most frequently when Camille is distraught, and in her frenetic drive through the town several appear in her eyeline.

Episode five begins with Camille dreaming about her frenzied search for Amma.

Words are visible on her skin throughout the scene in the clothing store, but there are a few distinct close-up shots the emphasize the obvious pattern in the way Sharp Objects uses its words: The words hidden throughout the show are the words Camille scars onto herself. Again, there are multiple shots of Camille in the dressing room, and the words written all over her body are visible throughout. All of the words are labels, all of them make up a web of self-identification, external limitations, social constraints, and fears. What follows is one of my favorite hidden-word sprees the mini-series has done so far.
